Today, the sect of the Hashishin (where the name assassin's originated) still exists in the form of the Ismailis (Ishmaelites) whose undisputed chief, endowed by them with divine attributes, is the Aga Khan, or all one has to do is to observe the ancient Hebrew (Israelites) High-Priest wardrobe to see the resemblance of mushroom worshipping.

Beef & Blueberry Stuffed Sweet Potato
Ingredients

Sweet Potato
Left over beef
Blue berries
Salt and pepper
Cooking Instructions

Half a sweet kumara and place in oven to cook. About 20 minutes at 180 C/350 F.
Scoop out some of the middle and combine with blue berries ( I used frozen) and left over meat. I heated this up just on the stove in a pan.
Place the mix in sweet potato, season and eat.

Easy Baked #Paleo Chicken Tenders #Recipe

Yields 4-6 servings

2 pounds chicken tenderloins
1 cup blanched almond flour (I use Honeyville)
1 tablespoon flax meal
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
ground black pepper to taste
2 eggs
olive oil, in a sprayer (Like this one)

Preheat oven to 425 degrees (F) and line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a pie plate or another shallow wide bowl, mix together the almond flour, flax meal, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, parsley, poultry seasoning, and ground black pepper.
In another small mixing bowl, lightly beat the eggs.
Blot the excess moisture off from the chicken tenders with paper towels and then dip them in the egg. Make sure the tenderloins are thoroughly coated in the egg mixture and then dredge them in the almond flour breading, pressing to adhere.
Divide the breaded chicken tenders up between the 2 baking sheets and lightly spray with olive oil. Place in the oven and bake for 8-9 minutes. Flip the tenders over, lightly spray again with olive oil and bake for another 8-9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 180 degrees (F).
Transfer the chicken tenders to a platter and serve immediately, or at room temperature.
Megan’s Recipe Notes:
These chicken tenders never become really crisp, but with the tasty breading, they quickly will become a family favorite!

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
Yields 5 tablespoons

3 tablespoons runny honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (I use Annie’s Naturals)

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey and Dijon. Serve immediately or place in the refrigerator for later use.

Pumpkin-Walnut Muffins

Ingredients:
1 cup almond flour/meal
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1/4 cup almond butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*F.
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and blend well.
Coat muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray (or use paper liners) and divide batter among six cups.
Bake for 32-35 minutes or until muffins are cooked all the way through.

PUTTING LOVE INTO PRACTICE

The following story seen in "Sunshine Magazine" about a professor of psychology illustrates how difficult it is to love others.

Although he had no children of his own, whenever he saw a neighbor scolding a child for some wrongdoing, he would say, "You should love your boy, not punish him."

One hot summer afternoon the professor was doing some repair work on a concrete driveway leading to his garage. Tired out after several hours of work, he laid down the towel, wiped the perspiration from his forehead, and started toward the house. Just then out of the corner of his eye he saw a mischievous little boy putting his foot into the fresh cement. He rushed over, grabbed him, and was about to spank him severely when a neighbor leaned from a window and said, "Watch it, Professor! Don't you remember? You must 'love' the child!"

At this, he yelled back furiously, "I do love him in the abstract, but not in the concrete!"

That's so true. It's easy to love people "in the abstract". It's easy to talk about love and the importance of love. What's much more difficult is to love people in "concrete" ways, especially when we're dealing with people who are very unlovable, who have been unkind and irritating to us.

But love is not something for us to talk about -- it is something for us to demonstrate in some very practical ways, as John makes clear in this familiar passage:

"By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth." (1 John 3:16-18)

How do you know if someone is using you?

They only call you when they want something.
Always ask to borrow money or things.
Often calls to complain about their lives and never ask about you.
The conversations are often one sided. (about them)
They always want to go to your place and use your things.
They only get together with you when it's convenient and you provide all the transportation.
They never call you on your birthday or offer small gifts for holidays, but expect you to buy them things and call them.
Always want to use your computer, phone, DVD player, etc.
Always on their cell phone when you are supposed to be visiting each other.
They never call you unless it's about one of the reasons above.


These are some of the most common ways to figure out if a "friend" is not being a true friend and are using you.

The new Apple iPhone 4 (with iOS 4) was announced at the WWDC on June 7, 2010, but is the new smartphone what we kind of wish the iPad was? Probably not, but the iPhone improves upon previous generations and has some features that should be on the iPad – you know, like multitasking.

All griping about service providers, breaching an old promise that they wouldn’t get into the music business, or should-have features aside, it’s hard not to like Apple products; they’re aesthetically appealing, they function well and thanks to the iPod and iTunes most of us are accustomed to the navigation.

So what makes the iPhone 4 special? Let’s start with its structure.

At just 0.37 inches thick, it’ll be the thinnest smartphone to hit the market come June 24^th. You’ll also notice a stainless steel band around the circumference of the iPhone 4; this is custom-forged and four times stronger than steel and functions as the phones two antennas while fortifying the structural integrity. Next is the aluminosilicate glass on the front and back of the device. Besides being resistant to smudges and scratches, this Viagra-like glass is the same as that used on helicopter and high-speed train windshields and is 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic.

The touchscreen is still 3.5 inches diagonally, but it’s clearer and crisper than ever before thanks to Apple’s initiative to reduce pixel sizes to 78 micrometers across. This essentially doubles the pixels in each direction (960 x 640) on the high-res display, allowing for four times the pixel count (that’s 326 pixels per inch). Apple calls this Retina Display. The IPS display also offers 800:1 contrast ratio.

App and game developers have something to get excited over, and that’s the three-axis gyro. This translates to six-axis motion control between the gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, which is all managed by the Core Motion API.

Twos are the way to go on the iPhone 4: In addition to two microphones, there are two cameras (with geo tagging). There’s a front-facing camera and a rear camera (with LED flash). The 5-megapixel camera also can record 720p HD video at 30 fps. Other cool camera features include tap to focus for video and still pics and the ability to video chat with other iPhone 4 users. If you opt for the $4.99 iMovie app, you’ll be able to play around with your HD videos.

The usual app suspects are back, but there is a couple worth mentioning here. Such as Voice Control, which allows you to place a call or play a song by telling your iPhone 4 to do so. Also, iBooks is a free download, turning your iPhone 4 into an e-reader that syncs with your iPad – meaning you can put down one device and pick up where you left off on the other. This e-reader also renders full-color images/illustrations contained in your e-book.

The iPhone 4 uses the same A4 processor that’s on the iPad. This processor is energy-efficient, helping your battery achieve 7 hours of 3G talk time, 6 hours of 3G browsing, 10 hours of Wi-Fi browsing, 10 hours of video, and 40 hours ofmusic. The A4 also allows for multitasking, editing video, and making video calls.

Cellular and wireless connectivity on the iPhone 4 includes UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n 2.4GHz only); and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

The 16GB iPhone 4 can be yours for $199 while the 32GB will sell for $299. However, if you’re still interested the 3G S will drop to $99.

First of all you shouldn't change for someone, they should like you for who you are. Corny jokes get really annoying. I have a boyfriend, he's really sweet and compliments me, it makes me feel good. But here's the point, treat her with care and passion and be yourself. Don't think burping and farting is a good way to attract us girls one burp here and there is all right but the farts gotta go, they STINK! If a girl looks pretty tell them, dont just stare at them they will get really creeped out. But in one way they might come and ask why you were staring at them and then that could start a relationship.

Walk up to her give her a good compliment then walk away she will have the urge to chase after you, and trust me she will, then you can keep her chasing or date her.

Most girls like funny boys so don't be afraid to crack a joke, but not a corney joke. If she is a dark (Emo/Goth) go though being a dark (Emo/Goth), if you are not already. Good healthy boys, like most girls, do NOT like the pants being down so you can see your underwear. And DO NOT be hard to GET.

The one before me was good. Just talk to her. Be funny and sweet. But dont be pushy. I am a girl and I had a boyfriend recently that followed me everywhere; lets just say it didnt last very long. DONT BE CLINGY! And don't be hard to get; if she asks you if you like her dont say i dont know or maybe. Girls HATE it and just want a straight up anwser.

Exactly, and also if the girl likes you chances are she is thinking of you when you're not together so its a good thing not to be clingy.


Boys have done that to me before and I thought it was plain weird.

I am a boy and from experience the person who first answered is quite right. I found the perfect girl but no, burping is horrible and farting, try to hide it, this is to the guys. You just act yourself and if they don't like who you really are then they aren't worth the pain.


Where I'm from you need to look like Edward Cullen and Christiano Ronaldo! That's ALL girls care about, looks nothing else! I don't have a girlfriend and probably won't because I am not a footballer or have sparkling skin. The statement about there is always a person for someone seems wrong to me! I know people that half there life is over and never meet anybody!


Attracting a girl is hard some times. I know because boys at my school go for the girls with thier noses in the air. Girls like it if you just be yourself. If your not cool then I don't know, but still. I did like this boy, gosh he was wow. But he was himself and I could see the way he started to act around me he liked me. He was in year 9 and I was in year 6 but I liked him so. It was him being himself that attracted me and no I did wish he said he liked me beacuse I'll never know.

I'm a guy! I have a really great personality but sometimes that means absolutely nothing! Tell a girl hi and she looks the other way. Offer her a hand shake and she just stands and stares at your hand in scorn. Smile at her and she pulls a face. Go out on a first date with her and although everything goes well she never speaks to you after. Try to make them laugh and they make you look like an idiot in public. You know how embarrassing it is to tell a girl good morning in public and she completely ignores you?

Sometime you reach a point where its better to just leave people alone and save yourself embarrassment.

I think the best thing is being funny. I'm funny and it attracts guite a few girls.

Don't try to impress girls its just plain stupid! Just be yourself because girls do not like guys who try to be something the're not. And dont show off or act older than you really are!

Don't act cool! That just makes the girl think that you're arrogant. Being funny works, but no jokes. Just drop in a funny comment here and there, and don't be too sarcastic. if you're having trouble getting a girl, think about the kind a girl you want and then think about the kind of girl you are trying to attract. Churchgoers hailed the sun halo as a miracle

A halo around the sun startled people in Ethiopia during Sunday's local elections, with many seeing it as a miracle or a sign from God.

The ring of light caused by sunlight refracted by ice crystals hung in the sky for almost an hour before it finally faded and disappeared.

Some Ethiopians say it last appeared in 1991 before a military regime fell.

But the BBC's Elizabeth Blunt in Addis Ababa says there is little chance it could augur change this time.

She says the overwhelming majority of candidates are from the government party.

Churchgoers who had flocked to see the visiting Patriarch of Alexandria, Pope Shenouda, acclaimed the phenomenon as a miracle, or at least a sign of a blessing from God.

Pope Shenouda himself believed it was a signal from above.

"We accept any sign from God to encourage us in our way," he said, "and confirm that we are going right in our way."

Abuna Paulos, the Patriarch of Ethiopia, added his voice to those who believe in signs from God.

"If God reveals himself from the sky," he told a press conference, "we believers do not get surprised. We only rejoice and double our efforts to thank God. Thank you, God, for revealing a sign."

Dictatorship

But others looked for more secular implications.

Older people in Addis Ababa remember seeing the ring around the sun once before - in the last days of the Derg, the despised military dictatorship, just before its leader Mengistu Haile Mariam fled to Zimbabwe.

But there is little prospect of the government falling in these elections.

The opposition winners of the controversial elections in 2005 in urban areas never took their seats and did not stand again.

The most successful of the other opposition parties pulled out, complaining of intimidation and our correspondent says the results are almost certain to consolidate the ruling party's hold on power.

Results have not been published yet but an election official said turnout had been massive.
